GECMUN I (Feb.27th-28th, 2015)
The first ever GECMUN was hosted by GECMUN Secretariat on February 27th-28th, 2015 at Korea International School Jeju. Five schools (KIS Jeju, North London Collegiate School Jeju, Branksome Hall Asia, KIS Pangyo, and BIS Canada) participated with approximately 100 delegates. The five committees present were, UNSC, UNICEF, World Bank, Yugoslavia 1948 and the Trojan War Committee.
The first GECMUN made Korean MUN history in an array of ways:
1. Hosting the First "Global Education City" Model United Nations.
2. Hosting the First Crisis Committee in South Korea at a formal conference.
3. First historical committee to take place at an MUN event in Jeju Island.
